Julia is really good friends with one of my favorite clients and I met her at my client appreciation event last year. I was so excited when she booked us to shoot her family this year since this was her first ever photo session. I feel in love with her gorgeous kiddos and I have so many awesome images from her session and I can’t wait to show them off to her, but for now here are a couple that I love…

When Steve first contacted me about his family I knew I would have my hands full, but I also knew that he loved my style and that he would love the images I would capture of his family. It’s not often that I get to photograph a family with all teens and one budding adult so this was such a blast. I have a million and one photos to go through for this session, but here are a few to tide mom over

I love this family. We picked a very early morning session a few weeks back, thinking we would beat the southern heat….no such luck. It was so hot and shooting three kids under 6 was like herding cats…it was so funny. I am amazed at the lil lady Jennings is becoming and Harry is so photogenic and now we have added Mr Crab ( Gray) to the family. I will be done soon you guys!

I had such a blast at this session. Jessica was so sweet and dad was great, the star of the show was on and he gave me some great images. I loved this session so much that I just ordered a huge collage canvas of it to go in my studio…can’t wait for it to get here. Sometimes home sessions can really be my favorite type and this session was no exception.

Heather is a sweet southern girl who is actually a photographer herself. I love it when other photographers ask me to photograph their families because I know they won’t give me weird looks when I ask them to do crazy things and they just get it. Her lil firecracker  Emma had me laughing so hard with her southern drawl…I loved it. Thanks for trusting me with your memories Heather and making the trip to Raleigh!

I adore-adore-adore this one

The Yu family session was a blast. First off, the kids were so darn cute. They also were the most well behaved kids I have ever photographed. I can’t wait for you guys to see your full gallery…some gorgeous images coming your way.

This image right here is why I do what I do. It’s all about capturing moments and this was such a sweet one. It really solidifys the bond between siblings.

I have been photographing this lil cutie for her entire first year, she tried to act all shy with me for the first few minutes, but that did not last long. I adore her cute lil face and her bright blue eyes.  Her parents are pretty cool too

This session almost never was. We kept getting side tracked due to rain and we finally decided to go for it and I am so glad we did. They are such a cute couple and they were up for anything…I can’t wait for you guys to see your images, they are gorgeous!

and the star of the show:

Chase is my homeboy…he tried to act all shy and brand new on me when I got to his house but he was fine in about  15 minutes. I fell in love with his house and couldn’t decide if I wanted to move in with Yvette or just move in next door . Seriously the light was so awesome, the view incredible  and just great to photograph in. This session is so amazing…I love all the images.

I had a blast with this family. Seth was a bit shy at first and then he was game for anything…even playing a bit of football. The rest of the images will be ready soon you guys. Thanks for hanging out with me
